We were brand new here last year at Christmas time and arrived too late to send out Christmas Cards. We were a little (tiny, tiny) bit jealous though because it looked like fun to get all these cards from your pals. So this year, we said, YES! we want to send cards, but for one reason or another we didn't get time to get these made or a good picture or lots of excuses.
But we noticed on the list of pups and kitties who wanted to send, many of them would accept e-cards and for a long time my Mom has loved the work of British artist Jacquie Lawson, so we began sending those.
Now we have enjoyed our e-cards and can appreciate that they are the Greenest way to go and any kind of greeting is wonderful but here is something else:
Every card that we have had through the mail is sniffable! I love smelling these cards because they all smell like the pet who sent them. Ludo from England, every body who sent a card sent a little of themselves with it. And I loved that more than anything! So I told my Mom, next year we gotta get started earlier, get the picture made, all of that and then I will address them so some of my scent will be there when you open them.
What do you all say to that? Do you agree with me?
Let me say thank you to Ann of Zoolatry for making our header and card for us this year. She loves to do this work, and its all beautiful as you can see.

Hi Stella, we didn't do the whole DWB card exchange but have loved getting ecards.
We decided early on we would make a donation to the two rescues who helped us instead of spending the money on postage.
Now we have to confess we feel a bit like Scrooge - you are right it is fun but then there are lots of us and it would be dreadful to miss someone out!!!
Having said all that Christmas wishes are the best to recieve and give - who cares how they get to you!

They are both nice. We is gonna print our e-cards out to post on my (mum's) door. She likes to see cards on display because it reminds her of all our friends and when she was little and had all her big family near. Now they don't bother so much.
People say that they just get thrown away or that they don't mean anything but everyone is special to us and we keep them all Mum is just a big sentimental thing. We know it costs lots of money for stamps though. We only posted about 20 cards to the ones we know best and are going to e-card everyone else, I hope people will like them.

Our Mom is working on our cards. She wanted us all to sit nicely in a group for a picture. What is that woman thinking? We can't all sit at one time and stay there. She decided to use some pictures taken earlier this year instead.

Yepper the tennis balls come in cans of three but we usually can only find one in the backyard at a time so we have to fight over it. The Pest never brings it back and I the Blueman shake it and don't release it.. Louie is the Momma's boy he always brings it back...

We didn't do the DWB khard thingie last year nor are we doing it this year -
Mom and I are channeling the green papers we would have spent on khards and postage towards the transports I pawmit her to do each week -
We've received some furry nice khards (of both type FROM both types) -

If you like ecards, here are some beautiful, artistic ecards. The cards have dogs and cats too. There is one card called "Jazzy Christmas" where 2 cats enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream:-)
I love the ecard, with your and Ali's beautiful faces! What a wonderful personalized card! I love that it's 'green'... no paper and no fuel to deliver it!

I think it's a great idea Stella. I didn't get to send out many cards this year.
We like both. I made sure my scent was on my cards and so did Josie, when she was sitting on them , so as an added bonus gift, our cards also smell like kitty!
I am very interested when my cards come - they do smell good.

Yuh. We feel the same way. Plus we put all the cards up where we can look at them and then put them away with the decorations at the end of the year. That means that next year we can enjoy them all over again.
