Joseph Stains Memorial Cheeseburger Breakfast

This morning, my Mom (who has not been giving me many treatz lately because of chubbiness) made me a Cheeseburger for breakfast! She told me its a Memorial to Joe Stains who loved cheeseburgers in this life and now that he is at the Rainbow Bridge, I am sure he orders them up all day long.  But anyway she home made it and put it on a plate for me and got the camera out.  So I'd grab a bite, and she'd snap the picture just in time for me to jump out of it!    I ate many bites this way (and was it ever good!) while Mom gets a little more
p o'd at me every time for moving out of the burger picture.  She keeps telling me Joe Stains would not do this to his Mom, he always posed nicely.  But I can't help it, its just a challenge!

So, heres to you, Joe, thanks for the cheeseburger and I hope you are having a Ball at the Bridge.  See you when I get there!

Kisses,
Stella

Peeess:  I should tell you that this was Tanner's (The Doofus) idea to do and surely a perfect goodbye to Joe.    Thanks, Doofus, and I hope you are not too lonely without Joe.

That's a special breakfast. We had our own food, then we helped Mom and Dad with their bagels and strawberries and blueberries. Mom says we only get cheeseburgers when we earn a title. She's tough.

We're having watermelon this afternoon because it's so hot. We think that's a good way to cool off.

Thanks for participating and I am sure Joe is laughing at your ruining of the pictures. I am glad you got a tasty treat.

Did you ever see the movie "Defending Your Life"? Before a decision is made whether Albert Brooks is going to heaven or hell, he goes to this place where he can eat all the food he wants and never gain wieght. Perhaps that's how it is at the Bridge :-)

That is a perfect tribute to Joseph Stains. I'm glad that you loved your cheeseburger, Stella (but you should pose nicely for your mom like Joseph would want you to do).

If only K could eat cheeseburgers, we'd join in...

What a great way to remember your friend.
In fact, I asked Gail if I could have a cheeseburger too, but she said she "didn't think it appropriate" as we barely knew him.
Unfair or what.

PS Your Mom should meet my Granny and they could have a really good talk about hurricanes. Granny's story is about how she was evacuated to Canada in World War Two when she was only nine years old, and in the middle of the Atlantic a hurricane hit, and she was the only one on the ship who wasn't seasick! (She stayed in Toronto for 4 years, finally returned to her parents as a teenager),
