We have, once again, been laid up with a broken computer! How very boring you might say, and you would be right, but we feel we need to offer a reason for not appearing on your screen for about the last 10 days.
We came very close to using the pictured solution to our problems, but as much as we wished to, we couldn't find the correct tool that is shown. We had a major overhaul done in April, and it was better for a while, but then it just kept going downhill again. From June 6th, it got worse and worse until Monday of this week, it was totally disabled.
Back in the shop, it turned out to be the rogue malware (never take advice from tucows!) had infected even our antivirus program ! What a disaster! So once again, baddies were removed and hopefully will stay away. A new antivirus program (Microsoft Security Essentials, highly recommended and free) was installed. So lets all keep our fingers crossed and hope this fix is IT!
This is not necessarily true, but its a nice idea! Nice to be back among friends too.

Welcome back! You were missed. We have made a sacrifice to the gods of the computer world and have done an exorcism of evil spirits of the blog world ethers so hopefully all of the computer problems will now be fixed. You know we White Dogs are revered as Spirit Dogs so we have special powers (and dad is an IT guy)!

We would love to hear what u guys did while your computer was down...but let us know if we have to cover our earballs!
When ours is down we quilt! Or we snooze on a quilt... Sometimes Arrow takes over my puterthingy an hides it in her crate and peemails all my friends. Then she blames it on Bridgette.
Sometimes when our computer isn't working we go outside. But right now we can only go outside for 15 minutes. If we stay for 16 we melt. We went outside yesterday and stayed for 14 1/2 minutes...someone rescued us just in time. I had to get out a bowl of water for each of our dogs instead of using the community bowl! I almost took a drink out of their bowl myself before I regained my senses! It was very tempting.

Those cartoons sure say a lot about how we feel sometimes about computers!

We hope the computer gremlins are staying away from your system...we had a brief battle with them and with the help of the not secret weapon, $$$, we able to fix the problem (bad video card).
Oh gosh, Stella and family! So sorry to hear of the continuing computer troubles (like the Thundering Herd, I too am giving my Mac a hug). Paws crossed that the baddies stay away this time...hey, could you hire *the* Zkhat to work puter pest control? Cats are good for things like that, right?
