Can We Talk?

Hi Pups and Kitties:

Sometimes I just don't think of things to blog about.  Its pretty boring here in the winter, with just a trip to the library, a walk to town, playing in my backyard with my Wubba. So, I just try to comment on others blogs and think about mine!  Today I just have a couple of things to tell you.

Beckett and his Mom, made such a good suggestion this week, that I wanted to repeat it.  They said they felt with the Tragedy of Haiti that their limited green paper funds were to go to Doctors without Borders, who do such a great job whenever there is some natural disaster or special needs for medical help.  My Mom and I plan to follow their lead and make a small monthly contribution to this hard working group, not only for Haiti but the many other places they go to help people who cannot help  themselves.

We are happy to tell you our friend KB came through her very difficult surgery and is expected to come home soon.  She will have a long period of recovery at home and made it clear to all of us that she had Plans for it!  You might recall if you read Ali Z's page that KB asked about having 2010 the Year of the Bobcat.
Look at the picture we found on Cat in the Bag , where its Caturday today.

Evfurry buddy have a good weekend!  We still have snow, so if you are all thawed out, c'mon over for a playday!

Kisses,
Stella

Hi Stella
We ALWAYS love reading your blog, even if you haven't been doing anything very exciting lately. I wonder if you took out any interesting books from the library?
All the snow has melted here, and I would be most grateful if you didn't send any more over yours over just for the moment.
We agree that Doctors without Borders is an excellent cause, and shall send some of our multi-coloured paper their way too. Why, by the way, are US dollar bills so boring and green and hard to tell apart? (A question for Ali Z perhaps?) In other countries, the notes for different amounts of money are different colours and have different pictures on them, so you can tell whether you have a £5 note or a £20 note without having to pull the money out of your wallet!
Anyway, Stella, I hope you're having a pleasant weekend and, if resting, sweet dreams.
Cheers! H.

We are in the same predicament as you, Stella. Sometimes it is hard to find something interesting to blog about. And we don't want to put up a post just for the sake of a post. It was great to hear all your news, especially about KB. We can't wait to see that she is home and doing well.

Nice kitties and we also think supporting the docs is a good idea. And we all have times when we feel boring and lack stuff to blog about - but we always love you, Stella!

Doctors without borders is an awesome cause. Prayer is always good whether you have the green stuff or not.

Just keep in mind that Doctors Without Borders is one of the best-financed and richest aid organisations around.

Hi Stella,
Our Mom donated to Knitters Without Borders. They collect from knitters all over the world for Doctors Without Borders. It winds up in the same place, but it shows how generous knitters and crafters are.

Wish we still had snow. We have lots of mud.

Hi Stella
That is a good idea about the Doctors without Borders. We are also moved by the dreadful situation in Haiti.
We like the pic of you with your Wubba in your backyard.
It is important to still have fun. We are beginning to thaw however that has made conditions very icy and our aged mother is complaining.
She is worried about falling and we all have to tread carefully.
Have a lovely weekend yourself.
love and kisses

Hi Stella! Nice post! Doctors without Borders is a great place to start with donations. How sad and I can't even comprehend on what is going on in Haiti. All I do is pray for them and I have donated to a couple of children organizations also.
The kitty picture is so sweet!
Have a nice weekend..sometimes boring is a good thing!

Hi, Stella!
I guess we all have those "what I blog about" moments!
Our best option here was to make a donation to the Red Cross.
Have a nice and lazy sunday!

Nothing is too boring if it includes your pretty face. Thanks for reminding us how we can help those people.

You are one of the sweetest people on earth. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

And, I LOVE the bobcat picture. They're such gorgeous animals. I decided to make it the Year of the Bobcat for me because I yearn to as tenacious yet flexible as a bobcat!

I'm afraid that I may disappoint you in the 'taking it easy' department. I am terrible at taking it easy. However, for the moment, my body is giving me no choice. I fall asleep everywhere, even while typing on my computer!!
