A Good Boy Emerges!

Most of you know last week was my 3 rd birthday and I had such a good time.  What you may not know is that Beckett  and I have been good friends ever since I started blogging, both being rescues.  Now, Beckett has been know to damage things at his home, stuffees, bedding, furniture, all to my dismay!    I would try and talk him out of this behavior.  So you can imagine just how thrilled I was to get this comment on my birthday from my pal, Beckett:

Happy barkday, Stella!

If I were you, I'd take the opportunity to cut loose - destuff a few stuffies, maybe shred some junk mail, maybe even snitch a little food from the counter... but I know that's not how you like to live it up. I'm tempted to do it here, in your honor, but I think you'd appreciate it more if I continued on my Good Boy streak. So today, dear Stella, all my Good Boy behavior is dedicated to Y-O-U!

Beckett

The picture you see up above is Beckett's Good Boy Down and if you visit his blog, you will see his serious attempt at being a Good Boy every day.  I just couldn't be prouder of his efforts and gratefully accepted his Good Boy Day on my Birthday.

Goodness is its own reward!

Kisses,
Stella

Oh Stella... he is a labradork. I do not think they can be good doggies for long. Mine brother goes to good dog attentions school, but he still can't sit still at home. Not a wonderful doggie such as yourself.

Hi Stella
So sorry I missed your birthday last week. But what can you do when the technical support insists on going on holiday without you? Please accept my belated wishes for a Happy Third Birthday. You are now nearly the age I was when I came to live with Gail (over ten years ago now). I did of course not feel totally alone while Gail was away, with all those kind thoughts you were transmitting across the Pond.
So glad you're having a good influence on your friend Beckett!
Cheers, H.

HI Stella,

OMDOG thank you so much for this lovely post!

I still think you are missing out on some of the great joys of life, especially not 'sploding your stuffies, but I do have to admit that I like my Good Boy attention.

And, uh, I haven't destroyed any FURniture. I might have helped some of it get that distressed look that is oh so fashionable...

Boing!

Listen, Pups and Kitties:

I don't want anyone to think I am responsible for Beckett's behavior, because I am not.

Beckett did it on his own, and Mango, anybody can have a little set-back, plus I am half Labradork
myself!

I just wanted to tell you about the sweet gift Beckett gave me, thats all!

And OK, Beckett, no furniture!

Kisses,
Stella

Excellent training of Beckett, though we do not understand all of this fuss about trying to be a good dog. What is the fun in that?

I like that 'he tries to be good.' Fudge tries to be good too, but he doesn't usually succeed.
