Ali Zophia's Blog today!

I had to talk Stella into letting me have the blog and it took most of the day!  This way I told her she could have it on Wordless Wednesday since she is usually pretty wordless.  Stella told our Mom that I was an Odd cat and I asked Mom if she believed that.  She said "Odd doesn't even begin to describe you" so I take that to mean she thinks I am quite perfect, which I am very certain of.

The reason I am writing is because my new friend Tober the Library Cat mentioned me (very nicely!) in his blog today so I wanted to send him some pictures of me.  But first I want to show you a picture of Tober . . .isn't he a handsome mancat?

He is the director of his library, which you can read about if you go visit his blog.  He has quite a large staff of women that he has to manage too.  I am sure Tober can manage it all very nicely.

I wonder if Tober plays games at the library when everyone else goes home (I understand he lives there.)

One of the games I most like to play is on the stairs going up to my apartment. I like to play Slinky! Here are some pictures of me on the stairs.

I wonder if Tober has a nice stairway that he could play Slinky on.  Its a fun thing to do and good exercise too!
I would love to have a job like Tober does, but that will never be.  Our library director says she is
ALLERGIC to cats.  Isn't that the most pitiful thing you can imagine?  The poor dear!  We are not even welcome to go and visit the library.  Stella has been in as a visitor but they don't allow it anymore.  She didn't do anything bad, its just they can't imagine everyone bringing a dog for a visit!

So, I hope Tober likes my pictures and we can have a nice relationship.  My furs are not as pretty and colorful as Tober's but I think we would look very nice side by side, don't you?

Meow, meow,

We think Tober is very handsome. Our Mom used to have a cat named Burton who liked to play slinky on the stairs.

You can come into our library anytime. We promise to be nice and not chase you.

Hi Ali Z

I fear you may have misinterpreted your Mom's statement that "odd doesn't begin to describe you"....

Gail says that both you and Tober and very handsome cats (I am genetically programmed to be incapable of saying nice things about cats. Although I will concede that being slinky is pretty cool).

Tober is a very handsome boy, and with his library experience, he is probably very wise too. He would be the purrfect match for the very wise Ali Z.

Don't you just look so cute playing Slinky there!

Ali Zhophia,
It is great to see photos of YOU. Your coat is mysterious, the colors in it unique. You wouldn't do as a tabby cat at all - the allure of you is your mystery!!

Slinky games on steps. Hmmm. Glad our house is one level!

Ali Z, Tober will LOVE those photos, you are very sleek and beautiful. Why is it that humans make all these silly rules about where we four-leggeds cannot go or do? Seems they should police their own behavior first BEFORE they start restricting us!

Dear Ali,

Don't think for a minute that your furs are anything less than beautiful! I am so impressed by your flexible Slinky-ness. I have stairs at my library, but I have never tried this Slinky-playing. I usually reserve the stairs for tucking myself in during Thunderboomers.

Once the library closes, I spend most of my time looking for bulletin boards to destroy and flowers to chew on. I really like pulling the fake flowers out of the windows and leaving toothmarks and spit on them. This keeps everyone on their toes, and lets them know that I've been awake guarding the Library while they're at home in bed sleeping and not working.

To answer your question about my age. . . I was found by AB Karen in October 2008, and the Evil V-E-T said that I was 2 years old. So I guess that makes me Almost 5.

This is the longest comment in the World. Your pictures are beautiful, thank you for posting them!
