Miscellany!

Hi Pups, Kitties and Peeps,

Look what Martha has for you little guys.  Even Mayor Furter might enjoy riding around in one of these:

Looks easy enough to make and the directions are  at Martha's website.  Maybe even some of you Kitties could enjoy riding in this, but Ali Z gave it a big paws down.  But that doesn't mean much because she is just grumpy about stuff like this or anything else, for that matter.  I wonder if Martha has any grumpy kitties or does she give them away on her TV show?

Food:  My Mom and I had a fight last night (maybe a diskagreement) about what she put in my supper dish.  Now I get good kibble (Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover) and my Mom tries to change it from time to time by some add-ins.  Sometimes its a little grated cheese, sometimes a little yogurt, sometimes carrots or fish, just whatever she has she thinks I would like. Once she surprised me with Liverwurst which is the best thing I have EVER tasted.  So last night, she put a spoonful of spaghetti sauce (yummy) with some other things on top.  I didn't like them, so I just took them off, one by one, and laid them in a little green pile next to my dish.  So she is watching me and takes my dish away, and chops up these green things in tiny pieces and sprinkles on a little grated cheese.  Well, that made it better, but what are those things, Mom?  She says Green beans and they are very good, no reason not to eat them.   So until last night she was batting a thousand with the add-ins, but now I can see I might have to watch her better.
Do all of you guys get green beans in your dish?  Does your Mom do add-ins?

So far today we have had three snowstorms bringing us 87 inches of new snow.  Wow, we are all getting so very tired of this snow mess.  We look forward to it in the fall, but the trouble with snow is that it OVERSTAYS its welcome.  Would you agree?

Kisses,

Your Pal Stella

TD and Ciara will gobble up green beans, they love them. And of course, you know the word on Phantom - forget green beans:( He does like spaghetti sauce even though it does not hit his tummy very well. He can smell pasta and sauce cooking from outside.

We were sort of hoping for some more snow - can we all come for a visit?

Our Mom buys green beans by the case. Morgan, Sky, Noah and Samba get lots of them on their dinner almost every night. The rest of us like them, except Tsar, and get them sometimes. Mom also puts them in the soup she makes for us along with carrots and sweet potatoes. Even Tsar like the soup on his dinner.

Give them another try, they are yummy and they're good for us, too.

Green beans sound boring compared to the add in I had this evening. Know what that was Stella? Lambs liver! (Bet you're a bit bean coloured with envy just now!)
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS That sounds like an unimaginably huge amount of snow. Ours tend to go away quite quickly, at least here in Aberdeen, by the sea.

i don't think those come in wolfie sizes? green beans are gross--but enough chees on top makes ANYTHING taste great--hehehe--good thinking! Guinness

We, Carrleigh and Lilly, love green beans and beg for them. Piper won't eat anything but kibble, but Ruairi loves everything - he eats so fast that he probably never taste anything, though.

You beat our Mom "to the draw". She had planned on doing a blog about Martha's bag and still might - it's so cute!!

XOXO

Ali Z - I couldn't agree more about the add-ins or the snow. You just got 87" of snow? Holy moly!

It's my turn to have internet problems. Bad problems... we may change providers. But, for this brief instant in time, it's working! So, I could comment to you!

I hope that you and Stella are taking good care of your mom, Ali Z. Enjoy those add-ins. (We don't do interesting add-ins here - K has too many dietary restrictions).

Did I read that right....87 inches of snow? OMG. It's been extremely cold here but we have been lucky not to get much snow. I am so looking forward to the sun again and warm weather. Green beans...I guess if they were cooked and put in a pot pie, Holly would eat them. Other than that way, she won't touch them! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

I think they might be the same as what we call runner beans or green beans? I get some vegetables sometimes I will eat them and sometimes I will pick them out like you did.

Momma cooks for us: boiled chicken, brown rice ground up mixed veggies (so we can't pick them out) and blueberries). And we get good kibble. Sometimes dads puts stuff for human dinner in our bowls so we feel like we are sharing which is great when it is salmon skin or potstickers...not so great when it is BROCCOLI (which we gently place on the edge of the carpet).
You have WAY too much snow!

To our readers:

I am a great fan of Frankie Furter, the Mayor of Blogville, and 87 is the number he seems to use for every and any reason. So I used it for our snow. Of course, we didn't get that much, more like 4 to 5 inches, but add that to what we add and its plenty for me!

Cheers,

Stella's Secretary

My momma pulls the same sneaky stuff. She has me on the "Pudgy Puppy Diet", which means less Bites & Bones, and she often gives me green beans and corn. Trust me, even peas are OK when you have the pudgy puppy diet going on. But I had some spaghetti on Saturday night. Trust me, Stella, this is the stuff you want.

And Mom flat out refuses to get me one of those carriers. Can you believe it? She's all whiny about being medically unable to lift more than 15 pounds, and she thinks 215 pounds is more than 15. Hmph. I think she's just lazy.

Dear Stella, Ali, and mom,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind words for my brother's Gotcha Day. It meant so much to him!

And Ali, you are very handsome and wise. We are friends with special kitties, like you, too.

Hi Stella! We think that is a super cute tote for doggies, but we have to agree with Ali Z on that one - not really for us cats at all.

And 87 inches - we don't even want to THINK about that - it sounds awful (and we saw your note that it was really only 4 or 5 - still awful to us!)

We love add-ins, Stella. And when we're really lucky, Moma buys them JUST for us. Our fave is prob'ly Greek yogurt .... but we have to admit to liking those green things, too. (All of 'em. Including arugula! We're weird. We know.)

Hopin' you remember us after our long Moma-imposed hiatus,
Jake and Fergi

(You're looking as beautiful as ever ... Moma agrees!)
