A TALE OF A CAT!

Most all of you good pups and kitties know this girl.  This is Ali Zophia, sometimes called Zkhat.

So what do you think she is doing?  Why has she stuck her head in that small box?

Yes, I know and I am just a little bit concerned about her.  You see a friend of mine sent me a sample of spices and herbs.  They were all in little baggies, labeled nicely, about 25 or more.  I left them in the box up on the counter and used one or more daily.  But then I thought I need to put them in a nice container, so I found an oblong tin and put them all inside it, put the cover on and put it away.  But I tossed that little box that held all those many spices onto the floor with some other boxes to toss.

Then Ali Z strolled by like one of KB's lions in the woods.  It took her a second to pick up the scent, and she crouched down in front of the box and sniffed, and sniffed and sniffed!  She kept trying to get her head in further and then she would come out and roll all over the floor.  Then she would go right back with her head inside, come out and roll some more.  How she loved the combination of spice smells.!

She finally came away, fully exhausted and just said, "the next time Mary sends you spices, tell her to send a bigger box, one that I could sleep in please."

Then she staggered off and went upstairs to bed.  High as a kite on the fragrance of Spice*!

*No catnip was included in this array of Spices and herbs!

I'm actually relieved. At the start of your story, I was afraid that Ali Z had eaten the spices.

She must smell wonderful now!

"Like one of KB's lions" - I bet that she did act like one of them. I often wish that I knew more about house cats because it would help me understand the bobcats and lions. Maybe Ali Z can help me!

Are you suuuuuure there was no catnip in there? Maybe you oughta double check your oregano just to be on the safe side.
