DEV-OCEAN!

Do you remember from Thanksgiving Day when Frankie wanted us to tell about gifts we would give to our pawrents???  I said I didn't know what to give my Mom and so I asked her and she said all she wanted was my Dev-ocean for all the days that would be.  I said I didn't know what that meant and if it costs a lot of green papers just forget it!

Here is the scoop on it.  It is spelled DEVOTION and it means the fact or state of being ardently dedicated and loyal to a person.  This is a piece of cake to a dog, easy peasy, we do it naturally!  No green papers needed at all.  Whooooo!  This makes me so happy!

This is me, happy and singing!

Now another thing is, I got a letter from those sweet Bassets, Martha and Bailey in far away Scotland and this is part of what they had to say:

"We are looking into getting our own credit card so will let you know about that - apparently you can get anything with a credit card and you don't need money!"

Martha and Bailey looking into the credit card business!
Much love

Now that would really be something, wouldn't it.  We could go buy our own treatz or anything else we wanted.  I could buy my Mom a new sweatshirt even.  I can't wait to hear more from these two to know just how we get this.

I'm gonna go take a nap now, this is so exciting.

Kisses,
Stella

Stella, that is great news!! Mom worries about those green papers and this time of the year especially. Thanks for letting us know. It's wonderful to know where we can get a credit card finally! No money needed!! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Bentley had his own savings account. He found and saved 72 cents.

We give a Christmas present to Dad every year. Mom helps us buy it and wrap it up. So far Dad hasn't offered to help us buy Mom a gift. Mom says this year maybe she'll help us buy her gift and pretend to be surprised.

We think those plastic card things are great, but dad says that we have some guy named Bill come visit us. That does not make the hu-dad happy.

In our young and silly days, we once applied for and received a credit card in our dog's name! We proved that *anyone* can get one of those plastic cards. So, Stella, you just need your mom to fill out the form and then you can buy her piles and piles of gifts.

But, I believe that Dev-Ocean is an even better gift.

We are with KB on this one, Dev-Ocean is must more important to the Moms than anything green papers can buy. Loyalty is one of the most important parts of a great friendship. That is one thing most pups do understand.

Your own credit card!?!?! That's amazing. You could have your own picture on it and you could look at every other anipal's card and see what they look like. I think that would be fun.

Credit card just for me? That would be grand. I would buy myself a girlfriend. I know that sounds cheap, but she would not be a tart or anything.

Its great your mum wants nothing that costs money, and its great you can give her what she wants. Do not mention credit cards Brenda thinks you dont need money if you have one.

Hi Stella! We have missed seeing you since mom can't visit from work anymore. We think that your mom picked a great gift because it is nice and sweet and free too! We bet our mom would like the same thing (at least we hope so, since we don't have any monies either).

Stella, you and all your friends crack me up. Kona's good with that dev-ocean thing as long as I'm not trimming her nails, or looking for fleas, or removing stickers, or applying flea medicine, or looking like I'm thinking about doing any of the above...

Humans can get a photo of us on their credit card, can we get a photo of our human on our card?

The Mom are really into that deep ocean stuff, and I like it a lot too, now that I know what it is. I didn't know it existed in Chapter One, but boy-o-boy I'm swimmin in it now! And I know you are, too!!!

My the Mom says I already have my own credit card. but it's for healf care only. I'm fankful for it, but it's not as much fun as the one you and Martha and Baily are gettin!!!

Keep me in the loop, my friend!

Hi, Stella! Abby says be careful. There's probably a catch with those credit cards. Of course, if you can get one in your own name, you're probably "judgment proof." Let us know how it works out.
