What's This????

From Stella:
I will tell you what it is, it is our 399th post!  Our next wheneverly post will be #400.  My Mom says if we had kept our nose to the grindstone, we could have been closer to 500 posts, but we have just goofed off too much!

From Mom:
Today when we signed on to this blog, all of the names of our bloggers were just plain gone!  All that was there was dates and numbers of blogs published.  Does anyone know what could have happened to the Blog Roll?  Has this ever happened to any of you bloggers out there?  I would like to have the easy solution if there is one, before I start putting them back, one by one?  I will have to write to Blogger and ask too, but I would most appreciate your advice!

Stella and I did a little walk-about today and wound up at the library.  I hook her leash up to the Bike Rack and she seems to be fine there.  Today when I came out a cute little boy, about 8 or 9 years old, had lifted Stella's paws up to fit on his shoulders.  They were about the same height and he was talking up a storm to her.  I didn't have my camera with me, but after this I am never gonna forget it.

Stella says:  Thats what I want most is a boy about his age.  They are so cute and funny and unlike my Mom who seldom is playful, those guys want to play all the time.  Do you have any extras at your house?

Sorry no pictures.  Our wimpy snow is all gone, even though it is chilly cold.  We'll get some more, I know we  will.

Kisses,

Stella, Mom and Zkhat

Hi Stella, hi Jo! Your blog roll will probably return when you log in. Happens to me all the time... sometimes I have to log out and log back in...

Stumpy wants a boy of her own, too! I don't play as rough as she likes to play and I don't let her climb all over me the way boys do. maybe we could get one and share!

Hi Stella!! Sometimes when we log in, it shows that we are following absolutely nobody at all. Then we log out, back in, and everyone is there thank goodness!! No idea what they do but it usually upsets mom when she sees nobody at all! Have a great weekend!!!! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Stella and Jo, we hope the others are correct and all will be well when you sign back in.

Oh, how you must have wished you could have gotten a pic of that sweet scene. We have lots of little boys around here, but as much as Mom complains, I don't think she would be able to part with any of her grandsons.

Happy Halloween weekend.

I love the story about the boy and Stella! Even without your camera, you created such a great picture. I can just see the two of them now!

I have problems with my blogroll not updating so I sometimes miss friends' new posts. It's completely random too. Some blogs on the roll will show the updated post while others don't. It always rights itself after awhile. Hopefully yours will too.

I agree with Holly and GSC - sometime blogger can be a little glitchy!

Hi Stella, there is really nothing to beat a boy and a dog is there!
They always seem to have a quite unique bond.
Tell your mom she needs to put a wee mobile in her pocket - ours does but then it is usually flat just when she wants it!

ps we have twice lost all of our blog roll and had to end up putting it back in!

What the heck? Blogger ate part of your page? That is just weird.

My experience with Blogger is that sometimes things go crazy but often they fix themselves if I just wait a little while... I hope that happens for you!

It's a great image of Stella and that little boy having a heart-to-heart! You didn't need a camera - you described it so vividly!

That would have been a cute picture. Tell Stella that sometimes it's better to just borrow a little boy than to have him around all the time. Little boys get into lots of mischief.

I never know what blogger will do from day to day. Things come and go and change and I've learned to just go with it.

Can't wait to see # 400.

And we can not help on the blogger issues, since we use wordpress.

Hi, Stella and Jo!
I just can imagine the scene with the boy! Sure it was pawesome, right?
Blogger acts weird sometimes.
We prefer the Google Reader instead of the Blog Roll!
I hope yours go back to normal soon!
Take care

Hi Stella
Gail says that she too have experienced the disappearing blog roll thing, and the good news is that it can magically reappear. Let's hope this happens.
Aren't humans just useless when it comes to remembering the camera when something really interesting happens. (I am still disappointed that Gail never managed a photo of my 'blue poo' episode...

PS The good news is that my Quantum Physics class is a lecture and not a field trip. And you will be able to participate remotely, sat at home in front of the computer. (If, of course, you choose, he adds politely and respectfully).
