Power of the Paw

Right now I have a furry good friend, a chocolate lab named K, who has severely injured a tendon in her paw, had surgery, and is now in a cast for healing.  This girl, loves the mountains where she lives and she and her Mom were on the trails every day for exercise and excitement!  Her Mom rides   a mountain bike and her brother R , a black lab, goes along sometimes.  You can find their blogging adventures here.  Once you start reading them, me and my Mom think you will be hooked,

So the story here could be good or not, we are hoping K will be healed enough to get back on the trails with her Mom, because they love each other and their adventures.  Now if she is not able to do this, she will still have a good life, with lots of interesting things in it. But we are so hoping she can get back on the trails with her Mom.  Will you put the Power of the Paw to work and help her heal completely, so she can get out and run again?

She gets little short walks with her Mom everyday, but yesterday she showed her she wants to be Queen of the Forest again.    Look at this!  Sometimes she sticks her snooter in the air and smells Bobcat, Bears or Mountain Lions.!  Whooo!  She is always with a person though, never alone in the forest.

Thank you for sending warm healing thoughts to K.  She will be very happy to get them and get back on all
FOUR feets again!

The OP Gang's Mom wrote about this in more detail than I have and you just click on that and read all about it.

Kisses, and a big one for K!,

Stella

You have it spot on. We love reading about the adventures on KB's blog and have had our paws crossed for K's full healing for quite some time. Hope everyone takes a moment to check out the wonderful blog and cross some paws, too.

Stella, such a good idea to spread the pack of crossed paws! We, too, love seeing K's adventures and hope she'll be romping soon. If any team can make a comeback, it's these two.

We always hate to see an injury to one of our kind. Here's hoping she heals quickly and completely and goes back to patrolling those trails.

Hi. I was just cruising around blog world and found your blog. Just thought that I would mention that I am a Libra, got our dog from the pound 2 years ago, we were told she was a black lab x border collie but decided she is black lab x kelpie, and her name is Stella, so I thought it was quite a coincidence ... lol
