Out Walkin' Around!

Hi Evfurry Buddy!  I know my Mom and I promised some pictures with our little stories but the problem is with HER. . .she forgets to bring the camera with us on our walks.  She promised to write herself a note and stick it on the computer, and who knows, she might even do that!

Did you see the Porties Blog yesterday?  It had a bunch of ribbons that Nicky of the Dughallmor Beagles made for them.  Well, I don't want to brag, but I got one too!  Its really pretty but I didn't get a good picture of it.  Its got Stella on it and up there in the middle, its got a paw print in gold along with Dughallmor Beagles.  Does anyone else miss those Beagles as much as me and my Mom does?  My Ribbon hangs right in my special room, so I think of them a whole lot.

My Mom and I have been walking every day, even when its hot.  The best part of walking for me is that people stop us and tell me what a nice dog I am and that I am pretty and all that stuff.  Its nice.  But yesterday, an old guy who looked like he'd been working on cars, stopped me in front of the library.  He talked lots of words to me and I did not understand even one of them!  He said them in a nice way, so I don't think he was mad or anything, he just speaked another kind of talk.  My Mom couldn't really hear him so she couldn't figure it out either.  So she smiled at him and he just went into the library.  I hope somebody there could understand him!

My Mom is getting her energy back.  She mowed the lawn yesterday, and we walked to the library and then down to the Pet Store to get me some Dog Food and then we walked back home.  Today we walked some errands and stopped at the Bakery and my Mom bought me one peanut butter cookie.  Oh, Man, I love those things!

So thats about all we have been up to, it was 85 when we got up this morning which is too hot for either one of us!

I hope you are all OK and keeping cool.  Zkhat has a spot upstairs where she goes, Mom thinks maybe she sleeps in the bathtub up there!

Wow, that ribbon is beautiful. We miss the beagles too. We are all away right now but didn't want to miss your post. Tell that mom to take it easy, a little at a time = or else tell her to come cut our grass:)

I'm so glad your mom gets to take you places where people can tell you how great you are, even if you can't understand them. So happy to hear your mom is out and about and so active. Stella...tell your mom she needs to teach you the "Make me lemonade" command. It'll come in handy on these really hot and busy days. I bet you may even get extra dinner if you learn it well.

Hmmm - we have the opposite problem. We can't walk anywhere without the hu-dad and his camera.

Cool ribbon! We do miss the beagles. They pop up from time to time but not often enough!

I sent Nicky a message thanking her for the ribbons and told her you said "Hi". I also asked if she was going to continue blogging. I hate when people leave for Facebook. I have a Facebook account but I don't use it.

real peanut butter cookie sounds wonderful. You are a very good girl to wait patiently for your Mom.

THAT is hot! I'm so glad to hear that your mom is walking all over the place - that is great news in terms of her knee healing! Think of the walks that you'll do when the weather cools a bit!

And, I think that all those people are right. You are beautiful and wonderful. They're very perceptive!

Hi Stella - wow that is way too hot! We are amazed that you and your mom are doing so much walking with it so hot! But it sounds like you are having a great time while you are doing it! And of course people say what a pretty, nice doggie you are - heck, we can tell that from your blog, without even meeting you in person!

All that walking around sounds Most Marvelous. 85 degrees in the morning most definitely does not! I hopes it cools off soon.

And that peanut butter cookie! YUMMM!

Walking every day? That means your mommy is recovering nicely. I was really mostly checking up on her tonight. And now I've got to run again. Just popped by for quick hello, find out how mommy's doing and that the rest of you are staying out of trouble. I miss you guys, but there's not much I can do.
