Things to Talk About!

Hi Everybuddy, its Jo here.  We got this very nice award from Holly Wags and her Mom Debbie and we want to give a big THANK YOU for it.  You have to answer a few questions, and I will attempt to do that.

1,What would your perfect day consist of?

A nice sunny day that I could have for anything I wanted to do.

2. How would you describe yourself if you were an item of clothing?
A woolie handknit sweater!

3. What hobbies are you currently working on?
I like to make quilts and knit wool socks.  Right now I have started some socks for Christmas giving.
4. Walking in the woods in wellies or bare foot on the beach?
Walking on the beach!
5. Have you ever hugged or sang to a tree?
Sure, hasn't everyone?

6. Growing your own veggies or nipping to the supermarket?
Since I live in a wintery climate, lets do both!

7. Have you found anyone exciting in your family tree?
The silent movie cowboy, Tom Mix!
8. Slap up meal in a posh restaurant or fish ‘n’ chips from the wrapper?
Fish and chips.

9. Which element do you most resonate with, Earth, Air, Fire or Water?
Probably water!

Please help your self to this award and have fun answering the questions.  Thanks again, Holly and Deb.

Stella Here!  I liked your answers to my question last week and so this week I have another little problem I want your advice on.  I love to be outside most of the day, poking around in things, doing a little digging.  But when I come in the house, my Mom says, "You go sleep on your bed and stay off mine!"  Yet, Ali Z is always up on my Mom's bed and she does not give her the heave-ho like she does me.  She sleeps snuggled with my Mom all night long while I have to sleep by myself.  She says the reason is that I have dirty feets and I lay in the dirt under the porch with who knows what and Ali Z  is a house cat who stays inside and nice and clean.  She says, Stella, you have a furry nice bed and I think you should sleep there. Now do you think that is fair?  I can tell you I don't, not one little bit!   Now you might say I should get a bath everyday, but no, I don't want that . . .would you?  I'm gonna be waiting for your answers.  Kisses, Stella

Meow, its Ali Z here.  Woooo, thats a heartbreaker for Stella, isn't it?  Always something with you dogs!    My Mom said I should tell you she is doing so good on her physical therapy she only has three sessions next week, two the week after and all done on the last week of the month.  Yippeee!

Sending all good wishes to evfurry buddy!

Cheers and hugs,
Jo, Stella and Ali Z

Hi Stella
Well I totally sympathise. I too am not allowed to sleep in Gail's bed, and for similar reason's I suspect. I think the answer is to send our Mums for some psychological counselling, so that they can embrace a more positive attitude to what they currently think of as 'dirt'.
Oh and Stella, thank you so much for suggesting to Gail that there should be more photos of ME on MY blog. I so totally agree. Look out for a bumper picture post in a couple of days...
And I have also to apologise on behalf of Gail, who stuoidly put a video on her 'England; post, that no-one could view. She's fixed it now so you can watch it, but honestly I wouldn't bother, it's just a bunch of men singing at a football match, and I don't feature in it anywhere...

Hi Stella
We have just come from Dennis's blog and have just posted that is our luggage they have found and asked Dennis to forward it to Scotland.
Then we see the case with the money in is yours - what do you say we half it?
Congrats on your Award and good work with the Tag.
We think it is very unfair that your mom is not letting you on the bed - we are sure she is welcome in yours!
Thank you Ali Z for the update on your mom we are glad she is doing well.
We will be glad when you guys are back to normal!
love and kisses

We are glad you like the award. We loved it when we received it from Ginger Jasper. It is so pretty. We love your answers!! We are also glad you are doing well with your physical therapy!! That is great news!! As for the situation with the bed, Holly is totally with Stella on it. She cannot sleep in the bed because the kitties sleep with mom and they don't get along. Holly is stuck on the couch which I must say is rather nice. If Holly was to sleep with mom, their would be big fights going on all night long. Also Holly goes outside and gets alot of dirt on her by running around in the mud which mom doesn't want in the bed. Stella, for now at least, I think you should sleep in your own bed not because your mom doesn't love you but for everyones sake. Things can always change! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

Congrats on your award, and very nice sharing, Jo. Our Mom is a crocheter but so wishes she could knit. One day she vows she will learn.

Stella, we don't know what to tell you, we don't get to sleep on the beds either, but we did get some nice new ones of our own.

Hope you had a good weekend.

Wow, that's a lot for one post. I loved learning the answers to the questions. Your mom is a cool lady!

Woo hoo - PT is almost over. Way to go girls!!!!!

Last of all - Stella - we had the same concern about our dogs on the bed. So, the dogs went out and panhandled enough money to buy special dog-proof bed spreads. They're moisture and scent-proof. We have two so we can change the bed cover as often as needed... So, maybe you can sing on the street corner to earn enough money for a bed cover!

Ali Z - You should be nicer to Stella. She could eat you for dinner if she wanted to :)

Maybe your mom could put her quilting hobby to good use and make you a blanket. Then she could lay your blanket on the bed for you to sleep on so you don't get the bed dirty. How's that for a solution?

Maybe you can get Alie Z to give you a bath, after all she enjoys licking fur and you have so much of it.

Congratulations on your award and recovery! woohoo!

NO SLEEPING WITH YOUR MAMA???

That is just wrong Stella...Mama tried that "our feetsies are dirty" with us too...we made her just put a doggie sheet on top of the bed...

OH yes...Mama says to tell you we are also spoiled rotten, of course she is just kidding I am sure!

So much fun to read your answers to your award questions!

Stella, I'm not sure that the whole bed thing is ever going to change for you. BUT, I do think you can make things fair. This is what it's going to take: You've got to be sneaky. Pick Ali Z up my the scruff, carry her outside and roll her in the dirt. Voila! She's no longer bed-worthy and the playing field is even again!

Hi Jo, Wanted to answer your question about Kona's harness before I forget =) It's made by Canadog. You can find it here: http://www.canadog.ca/product;cat,7;item,32;Harnesses-Shorty-Harness-~-Sport

I like it a lot. Light-weight, but durable. (And Kona can do a number on gear.) The front is also padded to make it more comfy.

ps-Always love your playlist when I come to your blog. Eva Cassidy was singing Danny Boy the last time I visited. I got goosebumps and closed my eyes to listen!

Stella we think you should be able to sleep on the bed. A bit of sand never hurt any human. he he Mom and Dad are getting pretty used to it..
Way to go Mom. You are almost there.. Keep up the good work...

Oh Stella, that just seems so unfair! A little dirt never hurt anybody. In fact, some humans pay good moneys to have dirty mud smeared all over them. Jo should be thanking you fur wanting to combine snuggles wiff beauty treatments.

Luv,
Cloud

PS. Glad to hear your physical therapy is going so well!! :-)

Fabulous news on your mom's recovery!!! Yay, you did great, didn't you??? So happy :)
I didn't know Ali Z was a muted tortie simply because until five days ago I didn't think ini tortie terms, BOL. Those darn cute kittens are changing our lives. Love Ali Z's look btw.
About the sleeping issues: Stella, it's worse for me! Mom takes me to bed but then we are all subjected to cat invasions all night long. They just sneak up and fall asleep on us. Feel better?
