Its gotta be spring!

Hi Pups and Kitties!  I am sure you are wondering why I have a mom and baby sheeps on my blog today.  Isn't that a cute little baby?

This picture is from Sheep Notes, http://sheepnotes.blogspot.com/
where if you are interested, you can learn about sheeps!

Right now its lambing time, which means the Mom Sheeps are all starting to have babies and its a hard time for the people who owns all the sheeps.  They have to check on the Mom Sheep to make sure they are OK at having the little ones and sometimes they have to be warming the babies if its too cold.  This means they have to get up in the nighttime and go visit the sheeps in the barn .  Its a big job, but if you want to learn about this, go visit their blogspot.
The lady of this family, and my Mom are aquainted because my Mom likes to knit and buy some of her sheep yarn.

I would like to go visit these sheeps when they are out in pasture this summer just to chase them around a little.  I bet I could get  the Happy Heelers to come along with me too.  But its just a dream because nobody would like us to do that, I don't suppose. Dog fun isn't an item at the top of every buddy's list, is it?

Happy New Week to every buddy!

Kisses,
Stella

Very thoughtful of you to bring the happy heelers along. They'll have to rename themselves though to Ecstatic Heelers. BOL

Hi Stella
Humans don't like you to play with the sheep!
Funny cos they don't mind eating them!
We love to see the spring lambs but we do always feel guilty then about roast lamb and mint sauce!!!

ps we decided to 'rise above' the silly human remark - we seem to get a lot!

Dog fun is always at the top of our list, Stella, but we don't think we would be allowed to chase sheep either. But the heelers get to herd them, lucky happy heelers.

Our mom's aunt raises goats. Sometimes we go visit the goats, but we aren't allowed to chase them. Besides there are a couple that would turn around and chase us. Who wants to be chased by a goat?

Hiya Stella. I went and read about the sheep and lambs on the farm...phew they have a hard life the farmers. I hope they are all safe and cosy warm in the barn, they are kind of cute those lambs.

Aw, the sheep like to be herded. I don't think they are clear on where to go otherwise.

Hey Stella
Yeah, you really are in an opposite hemisphere to us! Here the sheep are still looking at each other - disinterestedly. Come Spring, all that changes when their mission is to create a new generation. Enjoy the lambs!
Take care and lotsalicks

Lambs! Wow, you're right - it's gotta be spring!

Hello Sweet Stella! You know what? We were just thinking about sheep and their lambs. And what do we find on your bloggie but some pictures, and a link to more! You are right on!

We didn't know your moma likes to knit. Our moma does, too, but it's new to her. Mostly she does other stuff with that wooly stuff. Speaking of which ... she robbed us of all or our wooly stuff yesterday. Thank goodness for jammies!

We hope your spring is wonderful. We just LOVE napping in the sun and dreaming of all the new bunnies and deers and maybe even foxies we'll see.

Thank you for our early spring "fix"
Love
Jake and Fergi
