This is what I was doing earlier today but I think my Mom might take me with her on some errands. I just love that!
Some peoples asked me when my birthday is that I want a pup! Its a long way down the road, in the beginning of October. So I have a long time to wait if I do get a puppy. Thats hard to do, but my Mom says it might be the best.
Ali Z said she didn't care one way or another. She said she could get away from a puppy even easier than she does me. I asked her how could she resist these little baby pups and she said they start getting around fast and they have teeths like needles.and they are too dumb to know what to chew on and what not to. So maybe she had some bad experience with puppies.
The Rock Creek Scotties are having a contest about naming these cute little pups. Go visit them and find out how to do it today because it ends on Valentine's Day (this coming Sunday). I entered some names myself.

Stella, my mom is SQUEEING like crazy over those little puppies. Especially their wee little noses. (She is weird like that.) Dad says NO! puppies. Something about how difficult I was...? I don't know, I wasn't really listening...

Just like Cloud's mom, ours is making all kinds of squeeing sounds here - they really are so cute. Stella, you need to ask Mom if you can celebrate your half-birthday and the timing would be just pawfect for one of these Scotties to make its way to Minnesnowda.

Our momma can smell the puppy breath all the way here to Michigan. She's panting, can you believe that☺
They are lovely puppies, all pups are so cute, but they chew on your tail and pinch your toys. But they are great fun.
Stella, you are sounding very maternal! Our mum is oohing and aahing about those pups but beware.
Puppies are hard work.........
Give yourself time to think things through - although we too could be persuaded to have a little Hamish type pup!

I would just like to bring a little Scottish male rationality to the discussion here. The tiny little puppies are not actually adorable, they look like little rodents, they pee all over the place (OK, pot, kettle, black, I know....) and they divert attention from the, er more mature dog.
For once I have to concede that, on this point, Ali Z is talking sense!
