You have probably seen this before, I have, but someone sent it to me and I laughed all over again.
See if you don't!

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.
He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head; he then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.
An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out..
The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.
Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'
The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar: 'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 - he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?'

Teehee! We haven't seen that one before! With The Little Monster, uh, my darling little puppy sister, Mom is sympathizing with the tired dog!

Hi Stella, We were visiting Gus, Louie, & Callie and thought we'd drop by & say Hi. We enjoyed the story and will be dropping by from time to time to visit. We like to make new furiends & have visitors. If you'd like to stop by & visit us sometime, we'd like that.

Very cute! We had something similar happen once. A tired, hungry little dog came to the door one rainy night. He sat on our door mat so Rob brought him in, fed him, then gave him a bath.
He was tired, so he curled up in the corner and went to sleep. Our dogs, we had three then, didn't know what to make of him.
In the morning he woke up stretched, ate some dog food, and wanted to go outside. We opened the door, he walked out to the sidewalk and looked back at us, then he trotted off down the street. We never saw him again.
I guess he thought we ran a doggie motel.
Mom wishes she could work at home more too... She likes taking breaks with us..
