Wordy Wednesday Warnings!

Dust off those winter driving skills. The first widespread snow of the season is quite possible by late tonight in the Red River Valley, and perhaps sooner across much of North Dakota.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 7 p.m. today until 7 a.m. Thursday for eastern North Dakota and the Red River border counties of northwest Minnesota. (Thats us!)

Light snow still is expected elsewhere in northwest Minnesota late tonight and into Thursday, but primarily south of U.S. Highway 2. No advisories have been issued outside the Red River Valley so far.

One to three inches of snow could fall in Becker County.. (Thats us!)

Kisses,
Stella

If Ammy was up there, she'd be able to give you a 100% accurate forecast!

We agree - you need Ammy - these human weather forecasters aren't always accurate.
Make sure you stay safe!

Hey there Stella
I can't believe how different our environments are! We have beautiful, summery weather here with lush foliage. This whole 'opposite' thing in bloggie-land is quite surreal!
We will be thinking of your guys - hot chocolate, log fires and close company - while our humans strip down to the bare minimum to cool down.
Lots of licks

I think I am still safe here in Master Chew Sits from the snow, right?

My auntie is in South Dakota. She will be cold, huh.

Wow, stock up on treats and stick those dog blankets in the dryer to get them all snuggly warm. Then snooze away the day in your comfy beds.

Lucky you - expect us to be knocking at your door any day now (though we are FINALLY supposed to have freezing temps and - maybe - a dusting this weekend).

We're suppose to get rain/snow. We'd rather have just snow.
