Saturday talk!

Hi Pups and Kitties!

Last night I didn't like our wet soggy snow a bit and wouldn't hardly go out in it.  But then by bedtime, it was way better, and this morning it is nice and dry and crispy.  But the sun is out bright, so the snow eaters might come!  Be careful when you answer the door, they are little white snowmen like, and might ask for treatz (which to them, is ice cubes, snow or gelato.)

Its always fun to talk about a new blog on DWB and this week we have had the fun of reading
Romping and Rolling in the Rockies , with our new friend KB and her two lab dogs who get to plow through snow that comes right up to their noses!  She rides a mountain bike through the deep snow!
I think she is gonna be my new super hero!  If you haven't visited her blog yet, do it, because its furry much fun and especially since she is the one getting cold, not me!

KB wrote a comment about my last night's blog where my picture showed me putting the toys on my bed.  She said: "I love when dogs take toys to bed to sleep with.  It makes me smile, ear-to-ear."  You know what, KB, I sleep with a whole bunch of them every night.  Sometimes it gets too crowded and I have to move to my Mom's bed, but thats OK.  Before I came here a year ago, I never had any toys, and my Mom had some left over from her old dog, Otis, so I got them!  Then I got presents of them, my Mom bought me some, my Mom's friends bought me some, too.  So now I have a big laundry basket full of them, mostly all squeaky toys.  But I don't share them except for a little.  If you would come to my house, I would bring you one, and let you hold it and squeak it for a minute, but then I take it back.  My Mom plays this nightime game with me where she takes my big duck to bed with her, and I have to go take it back.  But in the night, I go get her another one to have on her bed.  Then I take it away when we get up.
Just the way it is!

Do any of you other pups share your toys?

Here is a joke I told Ammy of the Army of Four:

What kind of witch lives in the desert?

A SAND-WITCH!

ha ha ha . . .Did I get you on that one?

Happy Howloween!

Candy Kisses,

Stella

Here's one of my favorites:
How can you tell when a vampire has been in a bakery? All the jelly has been sucked out of the jelly doughnuts. Hee hee hee!

Morgan, Tsar, Sky and Bailey all like to kill toys. Mom has to watch them and remind them to be nice, but they still ruin a lot of our toys. The rest of us carry them around and like to sleep with them.

Happy Howloween, Stella! My toys are kept in a basket in the living room downstairs, but every night when it's time to go to bed I pick one to carry upstairs with me. I usually fall asleep with it, but when I wake up in the morning it's usually lying on the floor, because my mom doesn't like lying on spit soaked toys.

I'm usually really great about sharing my toys and even let Tagpi destroy a few, but there are some toys (usually new ones) that I'm possessive about. I just let loose a big loud super bark and that sends Tagpi slinking away.

Hi, Stella!
Sand-Witch! Good one!
Normally, I don't pay attention to my toys but... if my mom takes one... I want it!

Hey there Stella!

We just love your blog and the way you share it with everyone around you. It seems that this is a special gift you have which you bring to bloggie-land! We will never, never, never forget your generosity to us in telling people about our blog!

AND NOW YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN WITH YOUR GENEROSITY TO KB!!!

Yes, her blog is truly awesome! It's like stepping out of our world into a wonderland of life itself! We read her blog everyday too and wait for it to arrive on the blogroll - just like yours!

So THANK YOU, dear Stella (and Jo) - you guys are stars!

Hi Stella
So pleased to hear that you now have the right kind of snow.
You know Stella, if I came to your house to visit (which I would love to do) then I would have a quick sniff of your toys but then leave them alone for you to play with. That would be OK wouldn't it? What would really interest me would be meeting you and your Mom and exploring your house and yard.
Cheers, H.
You couldn't believe how wet it is here this Sunday morning. I am so lucky to have a clever owner who looked at the weekend weather forecast and decided that Saturday would be the right day for an outing this weekend!

Kat and I share our toys, but we like different kinds of toys, so we don't have to share too much. I like stuffies and Kat likes balls and bones.
