Pretty posies, Stella. Mom has seen that book and is glad you recommend it. She hopes to get back to reading some good dog books over the winter. She wants me to tell you that "Merle's Door" is also a very good dog read in case you've never read it.
*I see what you mean about Nigel, Stella. If Truffles wasn't so doggone cute, I'd be runnin' as far away as possible from that looney toon! I'm gonna have to take my chances. Woofs and slobbers, Chester ;0=)
We haven't read that book but with the amount of rain we are having our mum says a trip to the library would be good. Of course Bailey and me would never be allowed in the library! The flowers were very pretty, they are fading fast now as we head into autumn. love and kisses Martha & Bailey xxxx
Oooh, pretty PINK flowers!!! Our mom likes that Patricia McConnell lady, too. We think she gets funny ideas in her head after she reads things with "dog training" involved. Love, Ammy
Patricia McConnell should be required reading for all dog lovers. She can explain their reactions both technically and, more importantly, in a fun easy to read way.
Hi Stella! We haven't read that book but definitely will check it out! mommy luvs all sorts of dog books, one of her fav is My Dog Skip by Willie Morris. Thanks for sharing the beautiful flower pic! Have a great day!
Hi Stella - We showed your picture to my cousin Rocky, and he is really happy to know he is a Borador! We have The Other End of the Leash (thats where I am) ~BOL your pal, Morgan
My mom and I are furry sorry if the comment on Ali Z's post hurt your feelings. This was not the intent at all.
See, the truth is that I am not as much of a troublemaker as my blog might portray me to be. But my mischief stories are more fun for me to tell. When I was writing about my stealing I actually thought, "Oh, boy, Stella won't approve of this at all! She is much better behaved than I am."
That's when it occurred to me that maybe you are sort of my opposite blogger and the stories you like to tell are the not mischief ones. So, since I'm always UP to mischief, I thought I'd ask Ali Z to spill the beans.
I thought your comment on my stealing stories was very funny and very Stella-like. I was hoping my comment to Ali Z would be Beckett-like, but I'm afraid it might have hurt your feelings instead.
Please know that I think you are a lovely Borador and one of my best blog friends! I still don't understand why you don't make your stuffies 'splode though...
Hiya Stella and Ali Z too! I would like you to stop on over to my blog and pick up an inspiring award. You inspire me to be more faithful in taking time to read yours and all the other good blogs I can. Oh and you inspired Mom to get back to reading good dog books again. She said she didn't want Merle's Door to end either. Unfortunatley, that is a part of life, isn't it? Woofs and slobbers, Chester ;0=)
