Ali Z Answers Mail.

Hello Kitties and Pups:

I received several comments on my Cat Day post.

Cloud (what kind of a name is that for a dog?) asked Speaking of Days, do you think a whole day should be attributed to cats . . .I mean they think they run the whole world anyway (pondering).

Apparently Cloud, you don't understand much about cats. We actually should have an entire week dedicated to us with many events celebrating our excellence. And yes, we do need to run the world, although its unfortunate that we are so often held back. I wish Huffle were not away this week, he could probably explain things to you in simpler terms you might understand.
Uhhh, thanks for writing, Cloud.

From Hamish in Scotland: To be honest, I am not that into cats, but seeing Stella asked I will
overcome my reservations, at least for today, and wish you all a Happy World Cats Day!

Hamish, I very much appreciate your words, Stella says you are a gentleman and a scholar and it certainly shows in your post. Thank you for writing me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hmm, this one is from Ludo in England responding to my saying that cats would make a better choir than dogs. He says, Ali Z, I has to disagree, I thinks dogs be better at making noise. Pepe (his cat) only meows when he is hungry and I makes all sorts of noises all the time.

I am sure you are right Ludo, that all dogs make are NOISES where cats SING. Perhaps your Pepe has lost her ability to sing, which would be most sad for her. If she ever seems sad, it is probably that she cannot sing for some reason. Thanks for writing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The beautiful Princess Eva writes: Be careful! Some pups may think that your singing is the call of the dinner bell! Not me of course. I think I might like kitties if I ever met one.

Ah Princess Eva, you are so correct when you say you would like us if you were to meet us. I have read your posts and you seem like a very gentle soul whom I would love to meet someday.
Just don't chase us and we will get along fine. I am sure you didn't mean to suggest that some dogs might "eat" us which is most horrible to consider. You have to realize we are much faster than most dogs, we are skilled tree climbers, and generally much smarter than many dogs. So
that scenario is most unlikely. Thank you so much for writing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thats all for today. Thank you all for your mail and comments. Until next time, when I will be
happy to answer any questions you have, I am

Oh, yeah, Ali Z. If I may say so - as an honorary kitty cat - Eva really is VERY sweet and gentle. I think she'd get along really well with a cat. I just loved her!
Play bows,

PS: Dave said to tell Stella "woo" for him. And please let her and your mom know again how much we all love our presents!!!

Great comments. Good thing Virus isn't the cat running the world, though, because he's got more than enough work keeping track of all 4 legs.

Ali, you are a very nice kitty for answering all those questions. I have one for you. I see the same kitty every day when I go for my morning walk. I try to be friends with her, but she turns the other way...what should I do???

Actually Momma just remembered that I have met a cat and I was very nice to her. Lola was still here when I was just a little puppy. I liked Lola but she didn't like me.

Dear Miss Ali Z,

I'll have you know that Cloud is a very strong and noble name fur a dog, thank you very much! And I do know a lot about cats, cuz I just so happen to live wiff one who, as it turns out, is actually The Queen of the Universe... so yeah, I know all about cats, see? They think they're sooooo much better than EVERYBODY!
And I don't need anyone to explain nothin' to me in simpler terms - I know lots of 2 and 3 syllable words, such as: "Dogpark," "go-for-walk," AND "Time-to-eat!" Hmph!
Good Day to you Miss Ali Z. I said Good Day!

Cloud (they don't call me Wonder Dog fur nothing!)

Isn't there a day for cats every week? I think it's called Caturday.

Miss Mehitabel

(Please do not tell that imbecile Beckett that I was on the computer. He'll take it as a sign I want to play with him.)

To Cloud from Stella:

I am so embarrassed at the letter
Ali Z wrote you. She can be sooo
rude! My Mom said after this she is going to edit Ali Z's mail. I am sorry you were the one who got bit! You are one of my favorites!

How is it going with Blue Duck?

Kisses,
Stella

Aw, no worries Sweet Stella! I know how cranky cats can be - You just have to talk to them firmly, and let them know who's boss... then RUN REAL FAST before they get you!!! BOL!

Luv,
Cloud

PS. I LOVE Blue Duck!!! I tried to take him into the big bed wiff mom and dad last night but mom said no. So he had to sleep on the floor. It made me real sad. :-(
But I played wiff him as soon as we got up today. :-)

Luv,
Cloud

Hi, Ali Z!
Now I know I must be very polite when I leave you a comment or I will get an answer from you!
Kisses and hugs

PS Could you please tell Stella that my grandma makes my dresses with 60 cms. of fabric. I don't know the measure in yards but I guess it is around 2/3 of a yard (?) Thanks!

No offense, Ali Z but I am not a fan of cats. I was attacked by one when I was a puppy and the war has been on since. Why is it that cats feel they are superior? Don't you know we are all the same on the inside? ;o) Loved your post.
