This is Spring??

So this is what it is looking like in my neighborhood, you can see that much of our snow is going, going, gone. Temps in the 30s, rain coming down.
Mom says we have never had floods here in my little town, and I feel sure we won't this year either, its just such a mess! Once the ground dries up a little, and it's very wet from all that snow, we can start cleaning and raking. I don't do that work, but I do pick up branches. That and finding last summers tennis balls and frisbees. That can be fun.

Our friends in Fargo, North Dakota are facing a serious flood this year. Here is a little info: << FROM BAD TO WORSE: Forecast flood crest earlier, higher than first thought
F-M area steps up efforts upon hearing newsFargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas were inundated with bad news Sunday with a new predicted Red River flood crest that now could reach 39 to 41 feet and arrive as early as Friday – a foot higher and day earlier than originally forecast.>> On the Minnesota side, the Buffalo River is very high and because of the excess of snow we got this winter, plus two days of rain yesterday and today, it all looks quite bad for these folks. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
I wisht we had something fun to talk about with you, but its very dismal looking out there and we are a little worried about our friends in Fargo.
Here is a joke a friend sent us, see if you like it:
A little boy asks: Daddy, how was I born?DAD SAYS: Ah, my son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway!Well, you see your Mom and I first got together in a chatroom on MSN.Then I set up a date via e-mail with your mom and we met at a cyber-cafe.We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later ablessed little Pop- Up appeared and said: You've Got Male!
I don't get it. Do you?
Kisses,
Stella

Hi Stella
I don't get the joke either but I can tell you that when Gail (my human) read it, she smiled in the way she does when she's heard something a little rood!
Cheers, H.
PS Hope the snow keeps on melting.

We heard about the flood potential too - big bad storm up there now. We are under the gun for severe weather overnight - rain, wind, hail, t-storms, hopefully no tornadoes.

Spring will be there soon, Stella.

Humans and their jokes, sheesh. I gotta admit your town looks a little dismal, I hope it perks up a bit and you get some sunshiney days.

Thanks for putting out the happy thoughts for us Fargo dogs! Mom and Dad are pretty frantic right now - moving things and plugging drains, but I personally thing a private swimming pool in my basement would be pretty cool!
