How many times do I tell you, Don't Wake Me Up When I Am Taking A Nap on your bed??? Its rood to get me up when I am soooo comfy! Its alright if you want to join me, but don't give me the heave-ho!

Its Ali Zophia Day!

Hello! Its me, Ali Zophia and I am sitting in my Mom's bedroom window looking out at the backyard. Its such a much nicer day today, sunshiney and sposed to get up to 60! That will be a heat wave for us.

I don't see a lot back here, but I am an indoor cat, so I see things like birds,
and squirrels, now I see Stella's pal Cookie, and right now I am looking at
Stella!

She is looking a little grumpy at me, don't you think? She wants to be outside and at the same time, she wants to be in where I am kicking me out of the bedroom. Not gonna happen, Stella!

Mom said I should tell Marty McFly that this is a better day than he predicted and yes, we are in DL. Who is this Marty? Another dog, oh, no!

I hope all you Kitties and Pups are having a nice day today, like I am. I am happy for Spring and Summer to come, but its sure slow where we live!

I am pretty grumpy about the weather, as usual, so just allow me a few words about it. It stays chilly, 30s-50 F., every day we get rain, and sometimes snow, but it don't stick. My Mom tells me April showers bring May flowers but all I say is they bring me wet dirty feet that my Mom insists on wiping off before I get into the kitchen or the rest of the house and I really hate that. It about kills me to see all the lovely walks the rest of you guys are getting, the Army of Four, the Thundering Herd, Hamish the Westie, all stomping around in what looks like decent weather. But at least I know Khrya would love this wet stuff and sit outside in it. Takes all kinds, I say. Ah well, ces't la vie!

Another award!

Hi all you Pups and Kittie Kats! Guess what I got now? From Dear Ludo, and Sweet Hazel of Pointer Pandemonium have both given me another award. Its a pretty one and while I don't quite get the language, Ludo's mom says it means Proven! Your Blog is Sweetness!

Now is that darling or what? I am most happy to accept it and thank Ludo Von Doggy and Hazel Pointer for thinking of me.

We had a nice sunny day today, and it really felt like Spring for the first time. I just spent my time chatting with my pal Cookie, and then just laying in the sunshine soakin' it up. My mom is busy doing some house stuff and she didn't even want to break for a walk. Ces't la vie! Easy come, easy go!

Did you see the recent Ao4 where Zim is now making pals of some circus horses? He is the coolest guy around and I want to be like that, where I can get along good with everybody and make pals of whatever animal comes my way. He could probably get along with a Tiger! Hard to say.

Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Stella, Sun and Sock: What does it mean? It means her diet is working and that the sock is her secret weapon. You are inspiring, Stella!

Its Me, Ali Zophia!

Its me, Ali Zophia, and I haven't posted anything for a long time. Mom offers it but sometimes I am just not in the mood to write, you know?

You probably want to know how Stella and I are getting along. Its still pretty much detante, but thats OK, peaceful co-existance is better than battling all the time. I don't run from her anymore either, even though when she stands over me, I do feel scared. I try not to, but its hard. So the best part is that Stella goes outside a lot, she has a pal now in the next yard, so she is pretty happy about that. The two doofusses bark at any thing that goes by, leaves, paper, paperboy, birds, you name it, if its out there they will bark at it.

One thing I did when she stuck her big face in mine, is I bited her on her head! I don't think it hurt her much but she did pull away fast. You can be sure I will do it again too! It made me feel good!

Last night I was gonna sleep in Mom's bed because I used to all the time until you know who came. Stella just couldn't stand it that I was in there, so I went under the bed, and she even tried to get under too, but her pudgy body wouldn't fit. That was another good laugh for me!

So I hope all you kitties and pups are having a good springtime. On warm days I like to sit in the window in the sunshine, snooze and watch what goes by our house. Not such a bad way to spend time.

Why do I love blogging? Where else could a dog write an essay a week and actually have other dogs read it?? Thats kind of a joke, but dog blogging is the best thing that could happen to a dog. Suddenly, after your first post, you have all kinds of friends all over the world, that you never had before.
These friends are really there for you, to answer your questions and to offer help in any way you might need. Even dogs we don't know, who get in trouble or are sick, get noted and we can offer our assistance, or money or whatever they need. Its just a Blessing Place, thats what dog blogging is and I am happy and proud to be part of it. Its also a place for dogs to have fun, play games, and celebrate. I can't think of anymore things, but I wouldn't leave it for anything!

I want to also mention all the great cats we have on this Blog, beautiful, highly intelligent and strong cats who can do almost anything. One of them, Huffle Mawson, is a honorary Huskie! Take that!

I Got a New Friend!

Right in my backyard! I don't know her name, but I am calling her Cookie
because that is my most favorite thing! Her fence comes up to the corner of my fence, and so just for now we can spend time talking, but I hope we can do some playings pretty soon. Maybe my Mom can ask her Mom if we can have a playdate. She is a little jumpy right now, but I am sure that is from moving to a new neighborhood, don't you think? She is very, very pretty. My Mom says she is a German Shepherd.

Now I also want to thank Ludo and his Mom for the best birthday party ever! I was in a real British Pub and we all had so much fun.

Look what I got in the Mails!

Hi Evfurry Pup and Kitty,

Look at the cute little Toy my cousin Jake sent to me. Its a squeaker and look how cool he is with his cap on backwards! I had lots of fun yesterday when it came, taking it out of the package and playing with it! Its even fun to sniff the package and pick up Jake's scent! Did I mention its a squeaker?

Jake lives a long way from me, down near where Princess Eva lives and I wish I would get to play with Jake someday. He is lots smaller than me, I think a Bijon Frise, but I would be easy with him and I bet Jake is faster than me by far.

I would like to talk Jake's Mom into blogging because Jake has lots of adventures. His most recent one was with some racoons outside his window eating bird food!

My Favorite Pupguy!

Morgan in PA ran a picture of Ludo because its his birthday tomorrow and I want to do the same.

Ludo will be one year old and he is one of my favorite guys. This is my favorite picture of Ludo, flying across the beach. I wish we could all be there to run with him on his special day. Its about 10 pm in England right now, so maybe he has gone to bed and will see our special little tributes to him tomorrow.

Snoweaters are Busy!

Hi Evfurry Buddy! The best thing is happening! The Snow Eaters is busy at work. Rember when I sent you a picture of the paperboy's footsteps in the deep snow? This is where it was! My Mom says the snoweaters are happiest and work hardest when it is warm and it is supposed to get to be 50s today, so by tonight we might see even more grass or ground. Is that good or what?

This is a picture of me (duh!) when my Mom wanted me to go in the back yard and get a ball, but this is my No I don't think so face. I had been out for a long time and I was ready to come in. All the old tennis balls and one little football are in the back yard but I didn't want to get them. The ground is kind of mushy and cold so my feeties are trimmed up now and I didn't want to get all yucky.

I am supposed to wish evfurry buddy a Happy Easter Holiday and hope you get baskets full of goodies. I already got a bunny to play with and my Mom put a squeaker in it because she knows I love them!

Before and After

OK, if you want to know about before and after my trip to the Beauty Spot, Before I was a happy good dog and after I am very crabby.

Do you know what they do to you in those places? First they brush you up and then they make you have a bath, and then they dry you with a shooter thing they point at you, then they brush you again, and get out a buzzie thing to cut the hairs off your feets and around your butt! Then they use scissors and cut all around your head and tail and body. And you can't move a snitch while they are doing this. Then when my Mom comes to get me they tell her that I was a NAUGHTY girl! Imagine the nerve of that! Who wouldn't get just a little nippy over all that!

I don't think I even look that different. My Mom says I do, though, and that I smell delicious! Thats something. I told my Mom after this she can just spray a little of that stuff she uses that smells good, on me, and we can skip the Beauty Spot.

I'm Excited!

Hi Every Pup and Kitty!

You know why I am excited? My Mom said she made a pointment for me at the Doggy Beauty Shop on Wednesday. She said I will get all trimmed up, on my legs and feets (she said my feets are so furry I am like walking on four spunges! Do you know what she means? I don't!) But what she says is that I will come out looking even more bea-woo-tiful than I am now. I can't hardly wait! When I come home I will have her use the flasher and send you my picture! Oh, I am so excited!

I told Mrs. Dughallmor in a comment that my Mom said I couldn't date like evfurry body seems to be doing because I am too young and I haven't worked hard enough on my commands and such. But Mrs. D. said I could because I wasn't too young at all. Dannan and I are bestest buddies but we are not, like dating or anything. I don't know what to think. I guess I will just mind my Mom (for once- Haw!) and work on commands for a while, go swimming this summer and have some local fun. I don't think I am ready for romance, although I did feel a little jelus when I saw my sister Kylie all snugged up with Ludo!

We still have mountains of snow, I can hardly read my peemail when we go walking, but its supposed to be mid 30s today with 15 mph winds so that will take it fast if we have a few days of it.

I hope evfurry buddy had a good weekend and you will see me again on Wednesday after my pointment, whooooeeee!

Here, Kitty, Kitty!

Hi Evfurry Buddy!

Here are the pictures we promised you of the Kitty Hammock. Khrya's Mom Phyll helped us get them so they work on Blogger! Thanks, always, to Khyra and her Mom, for their helps.

This Kitty lives at our Shelter and her name is Winter. Isn't she pretty? Khyra would probably say Pfffffft! but we like kitties. They are fun to chase.

My Mom said this is the first hammock she made and is not the best, but she is going to make some more and now she is experienced they will be nicer. But the kitties don't care what they are like as long as they are cozy. Anyone who might want to make some for their local shelter can find the pattern at http://www.irene-sheehy.com/cat-hammocks.htm . We tried to use grommets but found out long ties work just as well.

We are having a nice Sunshiney day to help melt our new foots of snow. We hope it goes furry fast, because we are well ready for grass to grow now in our yards.

My Mom is Home!

Hi Evfurry buddy! I am happy to tell you my Mom has been in the Hospistal and she got home today! My sister in law Laura and Spencer's Dad Glen have been taking care of me and Ali Z. No surgery! She is so happy about that. She had some tests and they found ulcers in her stummick that she has to take some special medacine for and she is already very better. She thanks evfurry buddy for the warm wishes and wants you to know she is going to be sending the Paw It Forwards in the next week. Thank you for being patient, Ludo, Gus and Waldo! The picture is what our front yard looks like today! (back yard too!) While my Mom was gone we got a two day blizzard that brought us about 3, 740 inches of new snow! At the end of March, can you believe that? I hope winter has an ending for us soon, as much as I love the snow, I like grass too!

We have gotten a Kitty Hammock picture from the shelter that is not very chummy with our computer but we are working on that!

We will try to get the Kitty pix to work soon and be back with another letter. Thanks again for your very kind wishes.
